La Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) è un'organizzazione senza fini di lucro dedicata al Software Libero. La FSFE ritiene che le libertà di usare, studiare, condividere e migliorare il software siano cruciali per assicurare un'equa partecipazione alla società dell'informazione. Lavoriamo per creare consapevolezza e supporto per la libertà del software, a livello politico, giuridico e della società nel suo complesso. Inoltre promuoviamo lo sviluppo di tecnologie, come il sistema operativo GNU/Linux, che assicurano queste libertà a tutti i membri della società digitale.

Il lavoro della FSFE è reso possibile da molti contributi individuali, in particolare dalla Fellowship della FSFE. Un modo per contribuire è quello di unirsi subito e invitare altri a farlo.

FSFE booth at RMLL Nantes/F

The 10th RMLL, Rencontre Mondial de Logiciel Libre (LSM, Libre Software Meeting) is taking place at Nantes. Rainer Kersten will organise a FSFE booth there.

RMLL is the most important Free Software event at France. This year, GNU/Linux User Group Nantes is expecting some 5000 visitors at the University of Nantes.

Whoever would like to come and help, is highly welcome. Please contact dus@office.fsfeurope.org for coordination.

Fellowship Meeting in Berlin in Juli

The local Berlin Fellowship group will meet on 9 July at 7.30 pm at the Newthinking Store located in Tucholskystraße 48.

This time there will be a discussion with representatives from political party youth organisations about free software.

As always, guests are welcome to join.
